trying to install USB FlashDrive on Suse 9.1

Sep 15, 2005 11:17AM PDT

I was tinkering around in YaST and I couldn't get my USB FlashDrive working with SuSE 9.1. I have a Memorex USB 2.0 ThumbDrive, 256MB. Is there something you have to download? I'm trying to convert my AMD 64-bit desktop to Linux (and I'll leave the laptop for Mom and Dad so they can get frustrated with Windows/Intel P4 32-bit). Thanks for your advice!

And am patiently waiting for 10.0. Sorry, but I know of no patch for the older versions.

So you mean I'll have to upgrade to 9.2 or 9.3 Pro just to get this to work? Not another 4.3 gig download!!!!

So I'll get the 10.0 when it's shipping. What download? Fedex works for me.

About that download. Seems 1/2 the size of what my XP box downloaded after a fresh install so ... bargain.
