Trying to connect rf headphones to Samsung smart tv

We’re trying to connect Sony rf400 headphones to Samsung smart tv using the red and white connectors. We’ve connected the headphone base to the back of tv using audio out. We can’t get any sound. We can get sound using an iPad but not the tv. Any help would be appreciated. We’d like to have sound from both the tv and the headphones.

Almost every Samsung I know uses those for INPUT TO THE TV and not output.

Let's see the full model number of the TV so we can check the specs.

Version # WH01

The headphones said to plug the red and the white connectors from the headphone wire to the red and white ports on the tv which reads R and L. Thanks

It’s finally working!

Thank you for your help. I found the audio out port. Earlier I tried that but the plug didn’t feel like it would fit. I didn’t force it not knowing exactly what I was doing. A friend told me to firmly push the plug into the jack and the headphone worked immediately. Thanks for helping me.
