I am trying to figure out what should I use that would would run with my hardware which has 8GB memory but it only shows 3.2 GB on system info and shows no read on my graphics/video card which is a 6770 Radeon HD card but it did read my printer I know it takes 64bit OS windows to read more than 4 GB memory and I thought my download was a 64bit Ubuntu that I burned in Nov. but not sure. I am wanting to get away from Windows and but when I do total do I need to format my HD or just delete windows and keep my other software I use and update it to Linux or is it better to run it besides my OS until I get everything running to my needs
