Yeah. its for version 2015
While I test various pgms. to add to my toolkit or portable media to help resolve issues. I found recently that AVG PC Tune-up 2014 "trialware" a decent tool. This is the "2014" version. Of course, if you like it you buy which they provide a link to. It isn't an AV or malware tool, more of a maintenance pgm..
I tried it and it works. It basically is something akin to CCleaner and IObit own System Tools. Though, its only for use to test period of -1 day/ 24hrs.-, later you need to remove it. I found using it even in this limited dated capacity it resolves many issues and "optimizes" your system as 1-key maintenance. The fixes remain and generally only after its removal will return some previous setting back, but that is limited IMHO. Overall, I found it to be helpful even though i removed it using REVO uninstaller pgm. to maintain a clean 100% removal. The only caveat I found was during install it wanted to connect home for updates, etc., but canceling that allows to proceed w/o fail. The battery of checks, tests and recommendations are valid, again IMHO.
While none of the PCs I tested were in trouble or problematic, it did find some areas to improve on. At least for the purposes of testing it seems to provide actual or "real world" recommendations to act on. I offer *NOTHING* in the way of support because I didn't buy or needed to go that route so I can't comment on that. You can google for consumer reports on it, just be sure it's for the 2014 version.
