As families prepare for summer vacations in our National Parks - Democrats threaten to close them and shut down the government. Terrible!

Perhaps the families could visit Mar-a-Logo.

THAT would show those nasty Democrats what a compassionate person/Republican would do.

Nope....

I'm saying that the Dems are the ones threatening to shut it down again, not the party 'in power'.....and that we've lived through at least four (more if you go back further) shut downs in the last twenty plus years and the country didn't come to a standstill over them. Non essential items that close temporarily are discretionary decisions made by the President (either party), and when it was BO in charge, he chose to close the ones that would hurt the public more than others would have and did it deliberately in order to blame Republicans.....like the National Parks and the memorials in DC, including the WH tours, knowing tourists who had made plans and reservations would be pissed off. He spent more on 'fencing' them off or blocking access than he would have if he had made different choices.

I thought the Rep's have a "majority"....as in "the party in power".....

RE: the Dems are the ones threatening to shut it down again

Again?...they did it before, when THEY were the "party in power"?

Now that the Rep's are in power...it's the other guy(NOT the party in power) that shuts things down....

he chose to close the ones that would hurt the public more than others would have and did it deliberately

TheRUMP didn't "realize it was such hard work" SO he just does what his predecessors did?

You thought you were voting for "change" .........YET AGAIN?

The more things change...the more they stay the same?
