As in, I have yet to find a good tutorial here.
I do agree with most of what https://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s5/391717-trusted-credentials-what-happens-if-they-all-erased.html kicked around but in each case we would have to research each credential (but how?) and then test to see what each breaks.
In some cases it will break logins, face recog and fingerprint logins. You'll have to be ready to do a factory reset to get back in.
I know to google each but since the amount of work I would have to do, I just don't.
Can's find the exact post so asking here.
I have a HUAWEI MATE 9 phone made in China. I like it but it's loaded with Credentials I don't want or need. The other day I turned off all them to see what happens. NO texting or Gmail access so I started turning the "non-foreign" looking ones on again one at a time until I got texting to work. However, I still have no Gmail send or receive (Try Again) but I do have my business email working. Weird.
Does anyone know what credentials I REALLY need in the US to make my phone work short of selecting one at a time and then checking the app ? There should be a source somewhere to ONLY select the Trusted Credentials needed.
