White House Official, in Reversal, Says Green Card Holders Won’t Be Barred

WASHINGTON — A top White House official appeared to reverse a key part of President Trump’s immigration order on Sunday, saying that people from the affected countries who hold green cards will not be prevented from returning to the United States.

But the official, Reince Priebus, the White House chief of staff, also said that border agents had “discretionary authority” to detain and question suspicious travelers from certain countries. That statement seemed to add to the uncertainty over how the executive order will be interpreted and enforced in the days ahead.

TheRUMP says...HEY I didn't bar anyone...the "border agents" did....

I hope the Scots ban him from Scotland.

Big petition going on in the UK against him visiting. I hope he doesn't try to hold the Queen's hand like he did with the UK PM.

Not to worry UNLESS they are walking down stairs OR an incline together.........

Word on the street is....Donald Trump has something called 'bathmophobia', which is a fear of slopes and stairs. The speculation has come from a 'senior source' close to the President, who said: "He hates heights where you can see the ground or sharp inclines

Of course it could all be a plot to get TheRUMP to keep his hands to himself...

He also hates pictures of a crowd at HIS inauguration where you can see "the ground"...

He has this thing about seeing the ground?

If he touches the Queen, he'll get bayoneted.

As for his inauguration, when I was in a band I played to bigger crowds than that.

Dafydd, I've seen Wales on a map.

That crowd was bigger than your population. Happy
(And New Mexico's as well.)

Protests against visit in Wales also.

In reply to: RE:he'll get bayoneted

Could get interesting if he steps out of line. I seem to remember years ago a foreign minister putting his hand on the small of the Queen's back. Innocent yes, but you do not touch the Queen.

TUVM for the link.

Notice the Michelle pic; HRH responds with her arm. Noblesse oblige perhaps, but I think she is covering the FL's gaffe. I admire your sovereign for one thing: She has always done her duty. And I wouldn't have her life for anything! Your Prince, OTOH ... Happy
