Trump claims computer glitches on SUNDAY

caused

President Donald Trump has defended his controversial immigration ban, denying it was to blame for the chaos at US airports over the weekend and instead blaming computer glitches, protesters and the "tears of Senator Schumer".

Out of 325,000 immigrants

In reply to: TheRUMP claims....Everyboby BUT me?

that arrived here on FRIDAY, only 109 were detained at JFK airport, and were let go within 24 hours after more examination, except 2 who decided to return to their departure country and 'self-deport'.

That's less than 1% detained.....for at the most 24 hours. IF they are refugees who fled countries where human rights violations and killings are the norm, I think 24 hours to get reevaluated is a small price to pay for freedom here compared to what they left behind and lived through for years. AND this moratorium is TEMPORARY, not permanent, until Homeland Security gets a handle on how to permanently deal with this. AND it would help if the rest of the intelligence agencies and the Attorney General were actually in place via confirmation.

Now compare that with how many planes couldn't land or depart because of that computer glitch and the number of outright cancellations and delays.....how many do you think were inconvenienced? And with all the money in profit revenues they report every year, they still haven't figured out how to get their computer systems updated. And some of those people were STILL on the airport floors waiting for flight availability yesterday afternoon.

http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-united-flights-grounded-20150708-story.html Look at how many airlines use a 'computer glitch' as a reason for these 'inconveniences' over the last few years....they talk about it in the article.

And In Canada yesterday...

6 people out of approx 33,000,000 were murdered in a Mosque.

Do you consider those 6

to be acceptable 'collateral damage' as a liberal who believes that your PM is working on your country's behalf when he did as BO did by INVITING terrorists into the country and risking his citizens' lives by calling that act 'sympathetic' or 'the right thing to do' for 'humanitarian' reasons? Or do you not worry about those deaths because they weren't people YOU know so they don't matter? What about that Canadian guard who was killed at the Ottawa Parliament by a terrorist as well? http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2014/10/22/canadian-parliament-shots-fired/17712907/

Yes, I believe that 109 detained

In reply to: According to YOU

for a few hours until ok'd and released into the USA or 2 chose deportation is acceptable....they were already in the air headed here when the EO was implemented....when compared to the years they have lived under the conditions they did.

IF I were one of the 109 or IF one of my family members were, I would be perfectly OK with being detained for reevaluation, especially if I KNOW I had nothing to hide from those asking the questions needed to get me released.  AND I would be really, really pissed off if the ACLU and all those 'ambulance chaser' attorneys trying to make a name for themselves  tried to sweep in without my personal invite in order to 'save me' from my President who is trying to keep not only me but the rest of the country safe from outright evil 'humans'.

And I don't have to be 'very, very careful' about my answer, JP....If you think you have a 'gotcha' for my reply, bring it but please stop with your veiled warnings to me; I don't need your 'protection' from myself.

BUT I DID notice you had NO comment again about your 'acceptable collateral damage" for the six that were killed and many injured in that 'church' shooting, especially since you had PLENTY to say about that racist whack-job who killed all those black church members here.

Of course YOU would.....and THEY would.....

YOU may be willing to have family members detained because of Trump.....

And YOUR family members may be willing to have YOU detained by Trump......

both sides would be smiling...for different reasons....

YOU, for THEM being detained by Trump...and THEM, for YOU being detained by YOUR idol....

Do you think they would be protesting to "FREE TONI NOW" ?

'acceptable collateral damage"?...Did I say that?

INVITING? At first glance it looks like he was BORN in the country....

Alexandre Bissonnette faces 11 charges

The young man, who appears to have acted alone despite initial reports of a second gunman, did not have a previous criminal record and was known as an introvert, and a victim of bullying in school.

Posts on his Facebook page show he “liked” Donald Trump, French Front National leader Marine Le Pen and Mathieu Bock-Cóté, a Quebec City columnist known for his pro-nationalist and anti-multicultural views.

He dressed up as the Grim Reaper for Halloween, and his musical tastes ranged from Katy Perry to Megadeth.

Bissonnette’s father is listed in the sales deed of the house as an investigator. And according to Bissonnette’s Facebook page, which has since been taken off-line, his grandfather was a decorated war hero.

when compared to the years they have lived under the conditions they did.

Even the ones that had 'green cards' and had been living in America for years?

Of Courts And Confusion:

That last detail came as a surprise to Hessam Noorian and his wife, who were detained for more than five hours with their 6-month-old son at Chicago's O'hare Airport. She is a citizen; he has a green card.

Wow...five whole hours of 'inconvenience'

In reply to: RE:when compared to the years they have lived under the cond

until they were ok'd. Many WITH little kids were looking at staying OVERNIGHT in an airport further away when flights were cancelled or delayed for much longer.....where is the outrage at the airport's computer system breaking down....oh, wait...there were no protestors there to make it huge headlines or ACLU attorneys to fight for THEIR rights to be sent to a nice comfy hotel/motel for the night or even FED.

Yeah, right....I hear your tears falling for them all the way to VA.

Good point here, and not being derogatory. Eastern US has similar problems, probably from the same weather system, but your POV is La Canada, not elsewhere, of course. Doesn't mean we don't grimace when watching national weather videos. Hang in there.
