May 29, 2005 3:30AM PDT

im setting up a wireless network at home I have 2 toshiba laptops, a desktop that is wired into a wireless g router and I also have a lexmark 4200 wired using usb to the desktop and a hp deskjet 895cse that connects to the desktop. Right now all of the computers are picking up the signal for the wireless internet, but I would also like all three computers to be able to file share and also i would like the two laptops to be able to print on both the printers that are wired to the desktop. can u please send me some sort of instructions and or tutorial on how i can do this. I have a pretty good tech background so I should be able to pick up on it quick but for some reason im a little lost right now please help me thank you

File sharing

You must also enable file sharing on each computer you want to have that ability. In my situation that meant enabling that option on each computer and several folders on each computer. As a note, with Windows XP, you cannot share the "program files" or "Windows" folders.

In addition to get the printing going, you must enable printer sharing and then install the appropriate printer drivers on the computers you want to access the printer(s).

I have three laptops and one desktop on a Belkin pre-N wireless router and it runs like a champ.

Also, do not forget the firewall - that can be a pain.
