Trouble with windows formatting my MP3 play automatically

I don't know why but my sony walkman stops working and I have to reformatt it, it's supposed to say RAW or FAT but it comes up with FAT32 which means windows has foratted it. I haven't done that so I guess windows is doing it automatically. I know how to reformat my player but it's a massive up heavl having to re load ALL my music every week! I'm at my witts end can some one help me?
