Question

Trouble with storage folders

Jul 12, 2012 10:28AM PDT

Beginning yesterday or the day before, my storage folders are suddenly no longer shown. The heading "Storage Folders" and general folders below are there, but none of the folders I've created.

Most of my old emails that were not in the storage folder are no longer shown.

I DO have storage folders turned on.

Yesterday my Win 7 was automatically updated. Maybe this is the cause of the problem.

Can someone help with suggestions?

Did you find a solution to your problem?

Hi there,
Did you find a solution to your problem? The same thing happened to me this morning. I created a folder and stored some important documents but today when i launched live mail it was gone. I can probably retrieve the files directly from the server but still it is annoying.

Don't see Tools

I don't see any Tools button.

Does this mean that I should switch to another mail server?

If so, which one is considered the best?

Mike

Can't answer.

While I use one, the choice is up to you. Given the criteria is unknown I can't start but MSFT is among the twitchiest of the lot with changing this or that to outright abandoning some service without clear ways on how to migrate. I wonder if folk will learn that a free service is nice but don't count on them for long.
