At the lower right corner of your computer screen you will find an icon that looks like a white speaker.
That is your volume control.
You can click the icon to adjust volume.
You can RIGHT click the icon to find more adjustments.
Your solution should be in one of the options.
I have a Sony DCR-SR40 which I can hook up to an older laptop running Windows XP and it will play both the video and audio, but I can't use the laptop to burn my video/audio to DVD - the computer freezes up - it has issues. I have a new Lenovo laptop, running Windows Vista. I can see the video but there is no audio. Of course I haven't tried burning the videos to DVD because I would like the sound to be with it. What can I do to get my sound?
