Trouble with Nero

I burned a vcd photo cd but my computer nor my dvd player recognizes it.Should the photos be burned data in order for them to play on most dvds?I see my dvd supports kodak photo cds but kinda lost know.

Correction it works on my Oppo dvd player but not my Panasonic blueray player.I guess not compatible...But the pictures are reduced in resolution and color compared to sticking my sd card in my blue ray player which is beautiful.

On a few of my dvd players which upconvert I get ok results by placing just the .JPG files on a closed single session DATA CDR.

The image is not bad since my upconverting DVD player appears to know what to do with a data CD with JPG files.

-> Here's the bottom line. Not all disks we make play everywhere.
