Trouble with internet connection

Nov 21, 2004 5:27AM PST

I have 2 network cards installed on my computer, one a linksys wireless, and the other a regular ethernet card.

Sometimes my computer cannot detect a wireless signal, so I recently tried stringing an ethernet cable from my computer to our wireless router. The trouble is, when I disable my wireless card, my computer cannot access the internet. I have the ethernet card enabled and it says that it has a connection.

Is there some other setting that I need to change to allow me to connect to the internet?

Thanks for any help.
