trouble using bluetooth dial up modem on pda

Jun 11, 2005 8:44PM PDT

Hi,

not sure if this is the right forum to post a pda-based question but thought I'd give it a go ne way!
(if ne1 could tell me a better place to post this, please do!)

I'm trying to create a bluetooth connection between my mobile phone and pda so that I can use it's GPRS connection.

My mobile phone is the Nokia 6230 and my PDA is the HP 2210.
I'm live in the UK and I'm with "o2".

When creating a new dial-up connection on the pda I've been told to use *99# as the "phone number".
The pda appears to connect to the phone; the phone then displays "Creating GPRS connection..." but shortly after shows an error message saying "Temporary Network Problem. Tha PDA at this point displays an error message reading "The connection failed and could not be reestablished".

I have all the recent updates for the HP 2210, and what's even more annoying is that this used to work fine. The problem appears to have only occured after I re-installed the rom update for the PDA.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Happy
