That message makes me think you dropped files onto the drive letter that shows up, but didn't use the supplied software.

everything looks fine on my pc, the files appear to have transfered sucessfully on the dmm screen but when i unplug and check the hdd there is no music, the hdd seems to have allocated spaces for tracks but there is no text or music within. plz plz help.

definately used dmm software, if i create a playlist the hdd shows i have 1 playlist and the title of it but when i try and access this playlist it shows the ammount of spaces allocated for the tracks but no title or mp3 content, what's stranger is that when i access this drive from explorer the tracks are showing on this drive and will play?????
