Trouble installing iTunes in Windows 7

I am trying to install itunes in Windows 7 Home Premium and every time i click on the itunes setup it comes up with the message "This installation package could not be opened. Verify that this package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer package"
