Trouble getting Bose Cinemate to work with UN60D7000VF

by B8TTYVILLEKID / November 20, 2011 11:15 AM PST

I'm struggling to get my Bose Cinemate to work with the new TV. I have set the TV speakers to external and it works, but there is a loud buzz/hum. I used the Audio out adapter and hooked the red to red and the white to white. That left the yellow just hanging. Was there another audio out I should have used ?

The cable you're using is the composite input cable.

Ahh, not the Japan model?

"No digital input in the US version. If you buy the Japan version, it has
digital input. What does this mean? Well, you won't get the best
quality simulated surround for HD content or movies with digital sound." does note an Audio Out MiniJack so let's hope you can use that.
