trouble deleting secondlife files

I deleted "secondlife" the game a while ago with add/remove programms but when I done a sweep with windows defender this week I notice secondlife files being checked so Ive located the file in documents and settings "application data" and tried to delete it, but could not delete it, I can go into the sub files of secondlife and delete each 1 induviduly but there are 86 thousand files to delete which could take along time, does anyone know a way of deleting the file in one go, im using windows xp
