Trouble creating hotspot through softwares and cmd

May 20, 2017 12:21PM PDT

I am not able to make a wifi hotspot with any of the software or cmd. When I type the following command in cmd

netsh wlan show drivers

I get

Hosted network supported : No

I googled the problem and followed some fixes, But none worked. Here are the following fixes I have tried

1. Checked device manager, there is no "Microsoft Hosted Network
Virtual Adapter" driver available.
2. Installed Realtek RTl8723BE driver
3. LAN and WLAN drivers are up to date

Earlier I had Windows 10 Enterprise edition, in it, I didn't have any problem of making hotspot through 3rd party software or cmd. But since I have installed Windows 10 Professional edition I'm getting this problem. Please help me to resolve this issue...

But prior to W10 Enterprise I had W10 Pro and I was using Connectify to create wifi hotspot. I'm not getting why on reinstalling I'm getting this issue.

I don't see enough detail here.

I'd stick with the OS that works. You or your company dropped a suitcase of cash for W10E.

In parting, W10 rarely gets the drivers for us. Get and install drivers for the machine per the maker's specs.
