You proved it's something amiss with the Samsung. It is possible to interfere with WiFi as evidenced with WiFi blockers you see for sale.
Remember my other post about connecting my new Samsung Galaxy Tab3 LTE and how it couldn't connect to my router at home, etc.? So I bought a new router and everything worked great again.
WELL.........The Samsung saga continues
We were having trouble connecting at hotels when we go out of town. This just recently started. I'm starting to think it might be us and not the hotels. We were in Reno, NV at a casino hotel which we've been to many times. We could not connect in our room but could in the casino, etc. Our room was in the middle of the hallway. The morning we left I had an idea and walked down a little ways each direction and was able to connect. So I thought I was just in a dead zone. Oh, I should note that I could see the hotel connection listed and could connect to it but we couldn't get the internet.
Now we are on the coast. A lot of the time we can't even get the hotel connection to show up on the Wifi list. And if we do get connected it is usually very slow.
So I'm thinking maybe some of our devices are interfering with each other. Is that possible? We bring 2 iPads, 1 iPhone 5S and a HP Laptop. So 4 things.
FOUND IT!!
Just found that my husband was bringing our Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 LTE. It wasn't even connected to the hotel internet but had found an Xfinity hotspot to connect to. When I completely powered the Samsung off then our other devices worked and worked better and faster. After a while I turned the Samsung back on and all our other devices internet crashed.
So is the Samsung putting out some signal that is interfering? It and everything else works ok at home ( I think, now I'll have to double it). Could the Samsung be broken and putting out some kind of current?
