Question

Trouble and Confusion Downloading Windows 8 Enterprise

Jan 4, 2014 1:21AM PST

Hello. I have recently downloaded Windows 8 Enterprise, a trial because I only need what's on Windows 8 for a few weeks. Then I'll go back to what I have.

I downloaded my Windows 8 Enterprise from here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/dn407368

Whenever I download it, the thing that opens up is this music thing called Roxio.

Where is my Windows 8? What is going on?

Thank you

Did you join MSDN?

The MSDN downloads have always been more technical and not for most folk. I don't expect folk to be able to use those versions.

You could do more research.

Your top post was incomplete. I can't tell what file you downloaded so I can't tell if it was some .ISO that needed another app to make the DVD. As I wrote above it may be too technical for some users.

I downloaded Windows 8 Enterprise and Windows 7 Enterprise from that link.

I said 32 bit when the option came for 32 or 64 bit (I think it is 64, 60 something).

Then it downloaded a file with this title:
7600.16385.090713-1255_x86fre_enterprise_en-us_EVAL_Eval_Enterprise-GRMCENEVAL_EN_DVD

Am I supposed to do something with a DVD?

I think you left off the file extension.

If it's .ISO you should try imgburn. Since ISO files challenge you today, take it slow and don't get this from download sites. I'll supply a link.
