Nothing more to do. Except reinstalling your software and getting your data back from your backup.
Hi all!
I'm new here so excuse any mistake I might make!
Today I opened an email that was infected with a "Trojan Skeeyah" (I cannot remember the rest of the name. Windows defender immediately warned and quarantined the virus;
My computer runs Windows 8.1.
I panicked because I'd used my debit card in my computer, but I cancelled the account immediately. I changed most of my passwords too. Next I ran Malwarebytes, that pointed out another threat - popup.optional.default. I removed both the Trojan and this latest one. I then proceeded to re-instal windows (Everything was erased) from a flash drive I had from a previous formating.
I'm kind of worried as I rely on this computer for my classes and school. Am I being paranoid now? Or do I need to be worried? What can I do next?
