Trojan.Noupdate is a Trojan horse that attempts to prevent users from updating their computer with the latest Microsoft Windows patches.



Type: Trojan Horse

When Trojan.Noupdate is executed, it searches for open Internet Explorer windows with the following titles, and then closes them:


C:\WINNT\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\System\panels\Context.htm: Microsoft Internet Explorer
C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\System\panels\Context.htm: Microsoft Internet Explore
LiveUpdate: Microsoft Internet Explorer
T-Online Browser
