Only 3 of the top 43 antivirus products detected any type of infection, and all three reported a 'generic' infection, which is when the scanner detects code that is similar in some aspect to malware patterns but does not actually match any known malware. I can't comment on the product's quality, but the malware report appears to be a false positive. If you decide to try the software and like it, you may want send your scan results to the developers of both programs so that future false positives can be avoided.

I'm writing to say that Avira free edition detected TR/VB.Downloader.Gen in the following install package from CNET:

I'm not sure whether or not it's a false positive, but it would be great if somebody from CNET could check it out. Thanks.
