Description
Troj/CBase-A is a HTML-based downloader Trojan which uses the codebase exploit vulnerability associated with Microsoft Internet Explorer to download and run Troj/LdPinch-I.
The vulnerability allows HTML pages in the "Internet Zone" to launch programs in the "My Computer Zone". For further information see Microsoft security bulletin MS02-015.

Troj/CBase-A arrives on the computer via HTML-based email messages, or by browsing websites whose HTML pages contain Troj/CBase-A.
