Trivial matter re: the Jeopardy Champion

Apr 26, 2005 1:43AM PDT
LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. It's one thing to win two (m) million dollars on "Jeopardy," but the real challenge is remembering where the car is parked.

So says record-setting "Jeopardy" champ Ken Jennings, who spoke yesterday to students at Siena College in a suburb of Albany, New York.

I've seen him on a couple of TV commercials, too. One is for a cell phone company, and the other for .... I forget.

On my Honda key ...

... they even call it a PANIC button for if I can't find my car Wink

I don't know what I ever did without automatic locks in parking lots. As long as I'm somewhat close I can just beam my key around and get the car to honk or lights to flash. Now all I need is a pager button for the keychain as I always "lose" my keys in the house!

The best I could do....

.... was to have my tires mounted with the whitewalls on the outside. So I just look for them. When or if whitewalls come back, if they haven't already, I'll have to think of something else.

Maybe an artificila flower on the antenna. We did that when we had Beetles.

You'll see Ken again

Jeopardy is doing an "ultimate" tournament...narrowing the field of previous champions to play against Ken for megabucks. His long run was a shot in the arm for the program, I am thinking, and they really just won't let him go.Happy

More money from endorsements than his winnings.

No access to Google during Jeopardy.

It was the teachers fault when I was in school. They just rarely seemed to know the questions to which I had the correct answers.Wink
