What I'd do is just run Vista and Linux in a virtual machine, save myself a whole lot of hassle.
I've decided I want to install ubuntu along with vista with win 7 as my mainly used one. I bought my pc about 2 years ago & it had vista pre-installed so I used that until I bought win 7 when it came out and then I got rid of vista and just had win 7 on it's own. I wanted to have vista because it worked well for me and win7 is still a bit buggy for me and I want to use ubuntu to practice running some server stuff on it.
I currently still have my 5gb recovery partition for vista on my 250gb hdd & my win 7 is on a DVD. I was thinking maybe I could have a partition for my media files which i could access from all 3 OS. I don't mind starting from scratch with the install's as I've got most of my stuff backed up.
I just wondered if anyone could give me some advice on how the best way to do it is. thanks in advance
