Okay, so I'm browsing on Chrome today and I go to Patagonia clothing web site. I'm searching and all of a sudden I get a live chat invite addressed to me personally",Hi Chris can I help you today?" I am not logged into Google ,I am not logged into Pat's site. So I ask how did you know It was me on your site? We have "triggers" they reply. Oh, okay? So I ask CNet what are these "triggers? Can they "see every place I go? Can other sites tell if I in particular am on their site? What measures are their to block these "triggers"? Did all my "safeguards" fail me? It was kinda spooky.BTW The live chat person was very pleasant.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
