tried to upgrade Me to XP

by Bennyballs / February 2, 2006 2:48 AM PST

computer is an old custum built desktop that has the right hardware requirements but i found that the BIOS installed is too old to support XP. also when the upgrade was attempted it was with a upgrade package not full version XP. Now when computer boots it offers an option between Me or XP. Me runs fine (well, its slow) but XP just reboots the computer. Now i want to uninstall XP components but XP is not listed in add/remove programs menu. what am i diong wrong? please help!!
