Tricky router issue

by Mindstyle06 / December 2, 2013 10:14 PM PST

Hello folks,

I turn off all the devices at home at night and they start automatically in the morning. This includes the cable company modem and router attached to it.

I noticed, once the system is up again, for first 15-20 minutes, everything works as expected but then the wireless signal disappears. I have to pull the power cable of the router out and plug it in after 30 seconds and it fixes the issue.

I am not too sure why it happens and how I can fix it. The router in question is Asus WL-520GU.

Thanks in advance.

Most leave modem router active and shut systems down. Basically what you are doing is a system reset which confuses the set up.

The reason behind the issue is, the cable company modem and the router boots up at the same time?
