Actually I didn't Charlie. I didn't read the book either. Not my cup of tea. But I could accept it more that way than hearing it on the news. I'm just squimish I guess.

It sounds like an interesting, if bizarre, case. I guess the big legal question is whether it is considered murder (in Germany) if the victim was a willing participant.

I guess this one will find it's way onto the Internet too, unfortunately.

... is that it was a consensual act between adults in the privacy of his home. If indeed the "victim" was a willing participant, I suppose there's nothing wrong with this in countries like Denmark that allow assisted suicide.
