Proxies are websites based in (in your case) the USA that serve as an intermediate between you in New Zealand and the site, making think that last site you're inside the USA, while you aren't. So that proxy gets the content and forwards it to you.
Just find one, pay if necessary and try. You can try from the USA also. If that works, it's quite likely it will work from New Zealand also.
Hi, I have a couple of quick questions. I'm thinking about traveling for a short timeframe to potentially New Zealand, and possibly Australia and was wondering what sort of steps I should take to have access to web sites that are based in the US.
Last time I traveled there specific sites would lock me out based on my ip location. I've heard of proxys, and vpn but I have no clue how to proceed with this. I would like to access content based in the US as I would be able to as if I were actually in the US and have my information secure.
Any sites and names and services suggested welcomed.
Thanks a lot for the help.
