200 billion stars in our galaxy and nowhere to go.

There are lots of options but choosing a destination would depend heavily on how much faster than light we are talking about as well as how much energy is required to achieve/maintain the speed.

Me, I think I'll just go down the hall instead of going into space.

But I probably won't live long enough to see them, much less do it. To experience alien cultures or flora and fauna! More steps in the quest for knowledge. I would love it!

Not only that, consider this: if it can be done chances are it will be done, or perhaps HAS been done by someone, somewhere. somewhen. So maybe those UFO stories aren't just fairy tales after all.

We know so much less than we can know.
