Transferring images from video CD

Can anyone suggest the easiesat way to transfer images from video CD to hard disk (without the help of any additional software other than image editor)

Hi Darton,
I followed your tips (23-09-06). But whenever I open a saved file it appears blank.The procedure I followed was: Pause the video>printscreen>open Paint(or Irfanview)>paste>save as
