You can transfer almost anything except installed programs. Programs and their locations are set in the registry. You can uninstall them and reinstall them in the other drive.

Have Windows Me and a partitioned hard drive: C and D. Is it possible for me to transfer some of the free space from D to C without affecting any of the folders/files presently on those drive areas? Appreciate any advice or help in this regard.
