Transferring DirecTV with Tivo Recordings to MPEG on PC Help

Hi,
I have a DirecTV with TiVo DVR and I would like to transfer the recorded tv shows wirelessly to a PC as an MPEG or AVI video file without DRM. Is that possible? What software would I need? I already have a wireless internet setup. I am planning to record the video files to DVD. Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
