Transferring data

by chbranch / March 28, 2005 5:37 AM PST

At my work I have a high speed connection to the internet, so I use it to download various games and movies but can only download movies that are small enough to fit on a 700mb CD-R. I tried to take the hard drive home and just copy the files to my computer at home instead of wasting alot of CD-Rs. Needless to say it didn't work. My computer at work runs on XP and the computer at home runs on 98. The home computer only read the hard drive from work as a recovery parition. The hard drive at work is NTFS and my home drive is FAT32. Is there a way to swap data between the two drives without having to install XP on my home computer. Thanks for the help

I have a question.....

Are you aware that P2P networking can lead to a computer spyware and virus infestation, loss or theft of data and personal identity?

that your employer will not be too happy if the RIAA or other anti copying organisation prosecutes him for your downloading of copyrighted games and movies through his internet connection.

Think again.
