Transfering Windows Media Video Files to PDA From laptop

I have a dell x30 pda and a inspiron 9100 laptop. How do I transfer a short video file to my pda. I can transfer music fine, but not any videos. Any help appreciated.

How Much Space Do You Have? The Dell X30 has 64 MB standard and you may not have enough space for movies...You might think about purchasing an extra memory card with lots of space and if you have a card reader, you should be able to copy and paste the movies using that.

I have a 512 mb and a 256 mb card. How do you convert the files to pda.

...A card reader should allow you to copy and paste files to the card from your computer.

My PDA has a help file for the Media Player that says to use the desktop Player to copy digital media files to the PDA instead of dragging the file from the desktop. That ensures Licenses are copied too.

On your own PDA try clicking on the Start then Help then scroll down to Windows Media Player and select it.

I have a dell inspiron computer and a dell axim x30 pda. I talked to dell today and they said that i need to use active sync to transfer a file. i tried to do that, but the licsense didn't transfer with it, and i still couldn't play the file.
