what is your main browser? IE, click on >file, import export, next, and you get a list of options to export to a file folder of your choosing,or import from a favorites of another and save. In firefox, >bookmarks, manage bookmarks, and you get import\export options. Typically using one of these, your favorites should stay anyway but if using another browser, I would import to IE or firefox and then save. You can then get them back if they do in fact get thrown away. Happy
