I think you are on the right path to install and sync with the Palm Desktop. The Palm Desktop has both export to files like CSV which some apps will take in. There is NO SINGLE TRANSFER MY PALM DATA APP OUT THERE. I've tackled this with the old way of export and find a way to import to the next app.
In parting, I wrote PallmOS apps and still maintain an few apps from those days so I know of what you ask. I have over 10 Palm devices in the dev kit at the office just in case.
I need to update my PDA info to an Android tablet. But first I need to install Palm Desktop on my 8yr old 3000 N200 Lenovo laptop running Windows XP so I can synch/backup my Palm IIIc. Then I need to know what software is available to transfer "my life" to a tablet. I am considering Samsung & most likely google apps (but my email is with Juno.com). However, my hardware/app choices will be determined by what will work to transfer all my “life” from my Palm. Do you have any suggestions on hardware, software, process & where to locate the software? I am getting very nervous because my Palm touch screen is slowly dying and the battery takes longer to charge & drains faster. So I need solutions very soon.
