Just import...

With the Outlook Express backup(s) in hand just launch Windows Mail and go File->Import->Messages->Microsoft Outlook Express 6 and browse for the file(s). With a little luck it will all go smoothly.

Hope this helps,

SOS!Migrating emails outlook express (xp) to Vista W.Mail

In reply to: Just import...

I've tried to import my emails from my xp machine to my new vista machine into windows mail. NOT WORKING. I copied them to the flash drive and when I connect the flash drive vista will not recognize the files. I'm tried both copying the folder from the old machine "my messages" and using the maintenance store function and copying each one separately on the drive. Not happening.
