Transfer of phonebook

I have Cingular service and plan on going with Verizon. Can they copy my address book or do I have to type it all in again? New phone or unlock it?

I don't think there's anyway to transfer your phone book. Once you're with Verizon if you got a different phone they could transfer between their phones however. Are you GSM with Cingular or TDMA? Verizon is CDMA, I don't think you can unlock a Cingular phone to use on Verizon, but I may be wrong.
