transfer numbers from sim to phone mpx220

I have a motorola mpx 220 from Cingular and I cannot transfer my numbers from the sim to the phone.Can anyone help me?

Well I just looked at the manual and after banging my head against a wall for 5 minutes because there is nothing in the book about the contact list let me give you a little help with what i can.

Start by going into contacts, i beleive there is a soft key on the right hand side that will take you directly there.

Once in contacts there should hopefully be an option to go into your menu. I have noticed on some of the newer phones like the V551 that you have to actually assign a location for each number. Even so, if there is an option to default save to the phone then make sure that is checked off.

Next check to see if in each entry there is an option to save location, It should automoatically have defaulted to the sim. If you select that option you should be able to toggle it to the phone. This will also allow for more settings features like, number type etc. Tell me if this works. If it doesnt we can try something else.

I wish I had one in front of me to practice on.
