Transfer iTunes library to another brand MP3 player?

I have an iPod which just died and Apple won't fix it. I don't want to buy another iPod, but I spent hours getting all of my music into iTunes. Is there a way to load this library (with the corrected artist, track names, genre, etc.) to another mp3 player, i.e. Toshiba Gigabeat? Any advice or help would be appreciated!! Paul

Copy the files from their original directory to the player if it supports UMS/MSC. Otherwise, you might have to use Windows Media Player. Make sure both your ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags are correct, though, as on some players they read one or the other.
