Ojilars,

I'm not sure how the radio is setup to receive the phonebook. I have gotten a Sony and Pioneer car radio to accept the phonebook from a Galaxy S Epic (as well as do in-dash calls and audio streaming on the Sony, still trying to iron out the Pioneer). So it's possible, but do you know if your radio is set up for Android or iPhone capabilities, or both?

No I do not know about the Anroid capabilities, when I am in the car the bluetooth works like I will find all my numbers on the radio, i.e. a - Z. However the are not saved on the the HD and if I disconnect bluetooth I also loose all the numbers from when I was connected.

Rgds,
J.L.

Ojilars,

I'm not sure what the answer is here, or how the BMW system stores the numbers. That would have to be answered by your owner's manual or dealer.

I did find this video on how to pair the units:

I imagine that connection would have to be established each time. I don't think it takes very long to load your contacts once both devices have the right permissions and connect.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
