Resolved Question

transfer data- old iphone4 to replacement iphone4

Feb 29, 2012 10:19AM PST

My 14 month old Iphone4 (Verizon) which I love is having battery issues for the last 1-2 weeks. Verizon has sent a replacement. I'm aware of how to back up my old unit to Itunes and transfer to my new replacement. I am afriad that I may loose my progress in a couple of games I have been enjoying....Tiger Woods 12, Temple Run and 3 Angry Birds programs. Can anyone tell me if the transfer via Itunes keeps your progress or not? If not, how do you keep your progress in these games? I can't see how there wouldn't be a way to do this and am sure I'm not the first to inquire about this. There must be a way I'm thinking. Any help all you wonderful people can give is appreciated.
Thank you.......by the way - Iphone rules

As what I know is when you backup your iphone 4 to itunes, the data like progress of games will be saved on itunes, but the game program will not.

if the game program is not in iTunes, then it will be copied to iTunes at the sync.
