Corel made many products. From drwaing programs to word processing. While it makes a difference, the generic answer is to try to load the file in the new program directly. If not, in the old program, find a neutral format. In word processors, I use "RTF" and that gets most of it over.

Best of luck,

Bob

use save-as or export. It will list the formats it suports, or do as Mr. Profitt says and use an intermediate format such as RTF, though you may loose formatting. Corel Draw 8 and above and Wordperfect 9 and above does support pdf as an export format.
