DJT sure made a lot of noise about winning but now the issue seems to have gone dead.

Anyone hear anything about what's going on?

You could lose weight. Happy

Bought a program Chevy Malibu from my BIL a few years ago. I was amazed at how many nice features it had, practical and luxury (to me). He said, They're all good, but it's too late. (To save Detroit.)
Seems he was right, except for Ford.
A 2000s truck will do more on less gas and more convenience.
And it won't ride like a truck.

What made you pick homes as a compare tool?

If my home value had gone up as much as the price of cars I would be facing a huge tax bill.

what's your problem with the comparison? You seem to be ok with paying a high tax bill on the purchase of a vehicle that is more expensive than a house though. Why is that? One is a real estate tax and one is a sales tax...….not so different when you consider that the RE tax fluctuates based on assessment value but sales tax on a vehicle will be charged repeatedly, rather than a one time charge when purchased new, based on how often it changes hands since each purchaser gets charged again on the same vehicle.
