Track limit on 1GB MP3

Jan 4, 2005 1:03AM PST

Does anybody know if there is a limit to the number of tracks that can be played on the Iriver or Sandisk 1GB MP3 players. I only ask because having bought a Packard Bell 1GB player here in Ireland I have discovered that it can play a maximum of 230 tracks. This to me defeats the purpose of buying a 1GB over a 512MB. I have a mate coming over to me in 2 weeks and if the Iriver or Sandisk are better I will get him to bring me one over. I received a refund on the one I bought.
